Erika Powers Named Fellow of the American College of Environmental Lawyers

CHICAGO – The American College of Environmental Lawyers (ACOEL) has selected Erika Powers to join the Class of 2023 Active Fellows. Powers is among a group of environmental attorneys selected for their professional accomplishments, high standards of practice and significant contributions to the field of environmental law. 

Powers, a partner in the firm’s Chicago office, focuses her practice on nationwide water quality matters, such as Clean Water Act issues, including wet weather management and wastewater treatment. She assists clients with wastewater permitting, compliance, and enforcement defense, as well as incident investigation and response, and ESG issues.  

ACOEL is a nationwide group of leading environmental practitioner with over 300 Active Fellows from 48 states. Qualifications of membership involve having substantial experience in environmental law for not less than 15 years and professional activities have been at least 50% in the area of environmental law for the last 5 years.
