Renee A. Danega is an associate in Barnes & Thornburg's Washington, D.C., office and a member of the Intellectual Property Department.
Renee has experience with examining patent applications through allowance, appeal, or abandonment. She focuses her practice on analyzing mechanical and electromechanical technologies, with an emphasis on biomechanical devices for novelty, obviousness and statutory patentability through extensive prior art searches and detailed correspondence.
Prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg, Renee was a patent examiner with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Renee is not regularly admitted to practice law in the local courts of the District of Columbia. Pursuant to Rule 49 her practice in the District of Columbia is limited to federal courts and agencies.
