Patrick Sullivan brings nearly a decade of corporate and finance-focused experience to his clients. He possesses significant skill advising borrowers, financial sponsors, agents and lenders on crafting financing agreements designed to account for the company- and industry-specific needs and goals of his clients over the life of the financing facility.
Patrick’s prior practice at two major international law firms headquartered in Chicago allowed him to develop his deep knowledge and understanding of the debt financial markets, while advising a diverse group of clients ranging from bulge bracket private equity sponsors and Fortune 500 companies to startup funds and entities accessing debt financial markets for the first time.
As part of his national practice, Patrick has negotiated and closed transactions and advised clients from a diverse group of industries, including oil and natural gas, restaurant, energy, industrials, pharmaceutical, retail, technology/software, defense and healthcare, including issues related to the corporate practice of medicine.
Patrick represents financial institutions, private equity sponsors, debt funds and other non-traditional lenders and public and private companies in connection with leveraged financings, syndicated loans, second lien financings, unitranche financings, mezzanine financings, secured and unsecured credit facilities, asset based financing, working capital facilities, acquisition financing, bridge facilities, debt recapitalizations, workouts, debt restructurings, and other financing related matters.
Further, Patrick has significant experience representing on- and off-shore funds and other special purpose vehicles with regard to fund line facilities, capital call facilities, subscription lines and management company lines.
In addition, Patrick is routinely engaged to provide local counsel opinions regarding financing transactions and other corporate matters.
Patrick is not regularly admitted to practice in the local courts of Indiana.
