Liz provides the breadth of intellectual property law services related to patent and trademark issues her clients face on a daily basis. She helps clients overcome complex patent litigation, maximize and safeguard patents and trademarks both in the U.S. and abroad, and successfully acquire and launch products in commercial segments where IP is the critical component.
Liz has represented businesses and individuals in litigation claims across the United States. She has litigated IP cases involving a wide array of technologies, including polymeric packaging films, compounding and processing systems, automotive components, and electromechanical and mechanical consumer goods. Liz also has experience working in the mobile communications and computer industry. In addition, she has been involved in various matters before administrative agencies, such as the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, International Trade Commission, and the Court of Federal Claims.
Moreover, Liz represents and counsels clients in patent and trademark procurement and freedom to operate analyses. Her practice involves clearance and patentability analyses, invalidity and infringement opinions, and national and international patent prosecution. Liz is also responsible for the development and maintenance of large, complex patent portfolios for her clients.
Liz’s background and hands-on experience allow her to counsel clients efficiently and effectively when leveraging their valuable intangible assets. Dedicated to those she serves, Liz’s priority is to learn her client’s business inside and out while acting as an integral member of their team. A detail-oriented strategist, Liz is committed to being a prepared, informed and utilitarian professional.
