Caitlin is skilled in working with clients from the inception of a trademark all the way through to the enforcement or defense of that trademark.
Caitlin is a member of the Intellectual Property Department, where she focuses her practice on trademark disputes before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and federal courts. A dedicated advocate, Caitlin is known for her straightforward approach to complex legal issues.
In addition, Caitlin advises clients in an array of industries on virtually all aspects of trademark registrability, prosecution and enforcement, where she assists with managing large international trademark portfolios.
Moreover, Caitlin's practice includes copyright law, including copyright eligibility, registration, ownership issues, licensing and addressing copyright infringement.
Caitlin is a member of the firm’s Women’s Initiative Task Force, the Legal Personnel Committee and the Recruiting Committee. She returned to the firm after serving as a trademark clerk in the Indianapolis office. She also gained experience as a law clerk for the National Collegiate Athletic Association’s (NCAA) office of legal affairs and the general counsel's office at Angie's List.
Active in the fitness community, she is a coach at CrossFit NapTown/NapTown Fitness.
