D CEO Magazine Names Barnes & Thornburg Partner John Willding to "Most Powerful M&A Lawyers List"

DALLAS – John Willding, a corporate partner in Barnes & Thornburg’s Dallas office, was named on D CEO Magazine’s The Dallas 500 for 2017 in the area of mergers and acquisitions law. Willding was one of only six M&A lawyers in Dallas-Fort Worth to receive this recognition. The others are Dallas lawyers Michael Boone, Jeff Chapman, Glen West, Gina Betts and Kenneth Stewart.

The M&A lawyers list is part of D CEO Magazine's Dallas 500, which is the region’s highly selective biographical database of what the magazine calls “the people who really run Dallas-Fort Worth business,” Recipients are selected based on extensive contacts in North Texas business circles, hundreds of interviews and months of research covering 60 different industries.

Willding has experience with mergers and acquisitions and other significant transactions. Additionally, Willding often serves as outside general counsel to middle-market companies and family offices.
