Prior to joining the firm full-time, Andrew was a summer associate in the Indianapolis office. He drafted formation documents for various business entities, board resolutions and letters memorializing business strategies adopted by management.
Andrew also assisted in the sale of membership interest in a limited liability corporation by drafting ancillary documents, disclosure schedules and corresponding with the other party’s legal counsel. He also has experience researching and drafting memos on tax controversy, estate planning, and property tax exemption.
Andrew gained additional experience as a law clerk for the Indiana Legal Services Low Income Taxpayer Clinic. He drafted 1040 tax returns and communicated with the Internal Revenue Service on behalf of clients to resolve tax conflicts.
Before enrolling in law school, Andrew drafted various business tax returns while a tax associate at a mid-sized CPA firm. In addition, Andrew also worked at a small CPA firm, where he reconciled and maintained the books for family-owned businesses.
