Originality and Ownership of Music

David A. Frazee of the Indianapolis office authored an article, "Originality and Ownership of Music." The article examines and focuses on two of the most fundamental questions regarding music copyright, (1) what can an artist copyright? and (2) who owns the copyright? It is David's fourth article published in a series entitled "Understanding Music Copyright." The series is targeted at artists and others in the industry who want to become more familiar with legal concepts regarding music copyright.
