He is active in the local entertainment industry and assisted in drafting the Georgia Music Investment Act, Georgia’s first-ever tax incentive specifically for the music industry. He is a past member of the Georgia Film, Music and Digital Entertainment Advisory Commission and is former chair of the State Bar of Georgia’s Entertainment and Sports Law Section. He currently serves on the Executive Committee for the American Bar Association, Forum on Entertainment and Sports Law.

Weizenecker has been recognized nationally and locally for his entertainment work, most recently in Variety’s 2019 Legal Impact Report and Georgia Trend’s 2018 Legal Elite List.
