Barnes & Thornburg Steers RV Maker Jayco Corp. in $576 Million Transaction

ELKHART – Driving toward expanding product lines in the RV industry, Barnes & Thornburg client Jayco Corp. and the Bontrager family sold their company to Thor Industries, Inc., in a $576 million transaction. Barnes & Thornburg advised Jayco Co, which was the world’s largest privately-held recreational vehicle manufacture and headquartered in Middlebury, Ind., in the transaction, covering M&A, antitrust review and compliance.

The Barnes & Thornburg M&A team representing Jayco Corp. included partners Glenn Killoren and Scott Troeger, paralegal Amy Evard and of counsel Andy Helfrich of the Elkhart office. The HSR review was conducted by partners Kep Carmichael and Kendall Millard and associate Alicia Raines Barrs of the Indianapolis office.
