The inaugural Women Leaders in Law Breakfast Roundtable with D CEO Magazine

On Feb. 27, the Dallas office co-hosted the inaugural Women Leaders in Law Breakfast Roundtable with D CEO Magazine, the business publication of one of the leading Dallas-Fort Worth’s magazines, D Magazine. The event drew more than 100 attendees and featured an all-star panel moderated by Dawn Rosemond of the Fort Wayne office that included Mandy Price of the Dallas office (who spearheaded the firm’s involvement in the event); Stacey Doré, senior vice President and general counsel, Hunt Utility Services; Robert Grey, president, Leadership Counsel on Legal Diversity; Stephanie Zapata Moore, general counsel, Vistra Energy Corp.; Tonya Ramsey, chief legal officer, Dental One Partners; and Dena DeNooyer Stroh, general counsel, North Texas Tollway Authority. The panel discussed a number of topics, including the value of professional mentorship/sponsorship (and the differences between them) and its role in helping women advance their career, developing pipelines of diverse talent, issues affecting women in law, and perspectives on current business events and how they help shape the workplace of tomorrow.
