Using contractors undeniably is attractive to business: contractors offer the promise of instant expertise, flexibility in scheduling and commitment, and less of a hassle than dealing with the red tape that comes with the traditional employment relationship. Those benefits can come with a price tag – namely the significant risk of legal exposure for companies that get it wrong.
