Attorney Presentation - "Holding Industry's Feet to the Fire? Environmental Enforcement by Non-Federal Stakeholders"

Through his leadership role with the ABA Section of Litigation, Charlie Denton of the Grand Rapids and Atlanta offices was involved with planning and presenting a regional CLE on environmental and energy litigation in Washington, D.C., on May 18. His presentation was entitled "Holding Industry's Feet to the Fire? Environmental Enforcement by Non-Federal Stakeholders." At the CLE workshop, Charlie also moderated a panel of environmental professionals entitled "Environmental Compliance and Enforcement by States and NGOs." Other presenters included leadership from U.S. EPA and Department of Justice. Approximately 50 attorneys and regulators attended. Barnes & Thornburg was a sponsor of the event.
