Laurian Cristea will moderate a panel discussion on The Outlook for Derivatives and ETFs at the 2024 Digital Assets at Duke (DA@D) Conference at Duke University. The conference is hosted by Duke University’s Pratt School of Engineering and the Duke Financial Economics Center.

Laurian’s panel will address issues including exchange-traded funds (ETFs), futures contracts, swaps, and other derivatives offered by centralized entities that allow investors to take on exposure to digital assets without having to set up wallets or safeguard private keys; the tremendous interest in such products, as evidenced by the fact that $4.6 billion worth of bitcoin ETF shares traded when they launched on Jan 11; the impact bitcoin ETFs will have on crypto markets and institutional adoption; and the other products that we can expect to see going forward, among more.

DA@D convenes key industry players in the digital assets arena, regulatory experts, and researchers for two days of rigorous debate, discussion and education.
