2018 Charter School Conference

Innovation. Leadership. Educational Success. As charter and education innovation leaders, you know the importance of helping every student reach his or her full potential.

The 2018 Charter School Conference will include two components – a School Leaders Institute taking place in the morning and a Policy Institute in the afternoon. This format will allow attendees the opportunity to take a deep dive into key issues facing school leaders, faculty and staff.

Registration and Breakfast: 8:00 a.m. (Eastern)
Program: 8:45 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Policy Institute
Registration: 12:30 - 1:00 p.m.
Program: 1:15 - 5:00 p.m.
Reception: 4:30 - 6:00 p.m.

Our speakers, local, state and national policy leaders, will explore important issues affecting charter schools. All attendees are welcome to attend either or both parts of this important day. The 2018 Charter School Conference will include sessions on the following, among others:

Policy Institute

• Parent engagement, advocacy and lobbying
• 2018 Legislative Update and Policy implications for the 2019 budget session

Keynote: David Dunn, former Chief of Staff to U.S. Secretary of Education Margaret Spellings and former CEO, Texas Charter Schools Association

The conference will provide charter school leaders and advocates with learning and networking opportunities to ensure charter school student success today and in the future.
