Poetic Musings on the Shutdown: Where oh Where is my NLRB?


Feather in InkWe’ve now been living with several years of creativity and novel reasoning by the Board:

- At will disclaimer – illegal – really? (well, maybe not... )
- Arbitration clauses – not so fast (and who cares what the U.S. Supreme Court says!)
- To post or not to post – that is the question (the answer from federal courts: No!).

And now, with the shutdown and the closure of the Board , we’ve been left with a creative vacuum. So, we’ve decided to fill it with some creativity of our own.

First, a haiku, about our loss:

O NLRB
Shut down, non-essential, missed?
Maybe, not yet, soon?

And a limerick if that’s more your style:

There once was an NLRB
Now closed since it can't work for free
Non-essential, sent home
All hearings postponed
My schedule, it’s jumping with glee!
