Lynn Tyler of the Indianapolis office moderated a session at the American Intellectual Property Law Association’s Mid-Winter Institute Jan. 24-27 in La Quinta, California. The session was titled “New Frontiers: Advancing Technology and the Evolving IP Landscape” and speakers included Jeremy McKown of Johnson & Johnson, who addressed patent exhaustion after Impression Products v. Lexmark; Ray Harmuth of Bayer CropScience, who discussed Farming in the Digital Age; and Larry Millstein of Millen, White, Zelano & Branigan, PC, who shared tips for IP lawyers working with startups.
