Join us for a town hall discussion where Barnes & Thornburg Insurance Recovery and Counseling attorneys can answer your questions about insurance coverage issues related to COVID-19.

The current COVID-19 pandemic raises many issues for businesses, including whether they have or can obtain insurance coverage for related claims and losses. Among other things, companies are suffering significant business interruption, access is being restricted by governmental decree, and customers are defaulting. Lawsuits are already being filed over the losses, damages, and even personal injury claims arising out of COVID-19. Disputes have also begun already over the extent of insurance coverage for these losses.

In some situations and under some insurance policies, there may be coverage for some of the losses and damages being incurred, including business interruption, property damage, event cancellation, and crisis management. Some lessons can be drawn from past events, but we all know that the overall situation of COVID-19 is different in many ways. Live participation by all attendees is encouraged.
