AIPLA Biotechnology Committee webinar - "AMP v. USPTO: 35 U.S.C. 101 and DNA Sequence Patents"

Lynn Tyler of Barnes & Thornburg LLP's Indianapolis, Indiana office and chair of the firm's Food, Drug & Device Law group, was the moderator for an AIPLA Biotechnology Committee webinar on the Myriad Genetics case, "AMP v. USPTO: 35 U.S.C. 101 and DNA Sequence Patents." The webinar discussed the Federal Circuit's decision on whether claims to DNA sequences and related methods are eligible for patent protection. The firm was also a co-sponsor of the event and on multiple occasions received recognition with the Committee's 1,000-plus members.
