In addition, he has experience both with respect to advising clients on FLSA and state wage and hour issues, and defending FLSA and wage and hour litigation.
“As a well-known employment and commercial litigator with great trial experience, Roy brings tremendous value to the firm’s national labor and employment group,” said Alan Levin, managing partner of Barnes & Thornburg. “He will be an integral part of our team, as his practice complements our experienced staff of practitioners and will enhance our delivery of services to clients.”
“While drawing on Barnes & Thornburg’s deep national labor and employment experience for his clients, Roy will also help expand those capabilities of the firm's Minneapolis office,” said Kenneth J. "He has an accomplished resume and will further advance the group’s reputation for clients’ success, both regionally and nationally.”
Ginsburg is the latest attorney to join Barnes & Thornburg’s growing Minneapolis office, which also added a prominent group of insurance recovery attorneys in January. The firm’s Minneapolis office has now increased its attorney ranks to 33 since opening in 2009.
“The addition of an attorney of Roy’s caliber is yet another validation of our successful growth efforts in Minneapolis, where the local legal market is recognizing that we provide an attractive platform that is attuned to clients’ needs,” said Peter J. Ekberg, managing partner of Barnes & Thornburg’s Minneapolis office. “We look forward to his contributions as we continue to expand our regional footprint.”
