Richard Winegardner, who practices in the firm's Indianapolis, Indiana office, is a member of the Labor and Employment Law Department. He provides labor and employment advice to a broad client base, assisting them in the design, drafting and implementation of employment practices, policies, employee handbooks, employment agreements and noncompetition agreements. His litigation practice takes him to several states, where he litigates matters involving wrongful discharge, discrimination, sexual harassment, FMLA, breach of contract, "golden parachute" agreements, noncompetition agreements and trade secrets. Winegardner also represents clients at all levels of administrative proceedings, including matters before the EEOC, OSHA, the Department of Labor and the NLRB.
He graduated summa cum laude from Ball State University and received his law degree from The University of Virginia.
Mr. Winegardner is a member of the Indiana Bar Association and is admitted to practice before the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the Indiana state and federal courts.
