Mark P. Miller is a partner in the Chicago office of Barnes & Thornburg LLP and a member of the firm's Litigation Department. His practice is concentrated on commercial litigation matters including commercial disputes, defending the quality and integrity of client products, defending class actions, and regulatory compliance. He represents large national and international companies, as well as Fortune 200 companies across a variety of industries.
Mr. Miller is a 1982 cum laude graduate of the University of Illinois, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law in 1985. As a law student, he served as the Associate Editor of the University of Illinois Law Review.
Mr. Miller belongs to several professional associations including the American Bar Association and the Network of Trial Law Firms, where he served as the co-chairman for three years. He also has a history of support to pro bono causes and previously served on the Junior Board of the Ronald McDonald House.
Mr. Miller is admitted to practice in Illinois, before the Supreme Court of the United States, the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh and Tenth Circuits, and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, where he is a Trial Bar member. He is listed in the Legal 500 in the area of Product Liability and Mass Tort Defense.
