Eric Thomason is an associate in the South Bend, Indiana office of Barnes & Thornburg LLP, where he is a member of the firm’s Litigation Department.
Mr. Thomason received his B.A. summa cum laude in history and religious studies from Gonzaga University in 1995, where he was a member of Alpha Sigma Nu, the national Jesuit honor society. Upon graduation, he served more than 10 years as the director of youth ministry for various religious organizations in the state of Washington. During that time, he received his Master’s of Theological Studies in 2000 from the University of Dallas.
Mr. Thomason earned his J.D. cum laude from University of Notre Dame Law School in 2009. During law school, he was a student note editor for The Journal of College and University Law and worked in the Notre Dame Legal Aid Clinic. He also worked as a research assistant to a professor, concentrating on issues related to immigration and environmental law and public policy.
He is admitted to practice in the state of Indiana and before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana. He is also a member of the Indiana State Bar Association.
