D. Michael Anderson is a partner in the South Bend, Indiana office of Barnes & Thornburg LLP. Mr. Anderson is a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property and Litigation Departments, where he focuses his practice on litigating intellectual property, franchise and commercial disputes, as well as international and domestic trademark and copyright prosecution. He also is a member of the firm’s commercial litigation and advertising & marketing practice groups.
Mr. Anderson’s experience includes both trial and appellate work, and litigation before the United States Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. He has extensive experience prosecuting and defending injunction proceedings involving intellectual property rights, commercial torts, and non-competition agreements.
Mr. Anderson graduated magna cum laude from Indiana University School of Law - Bloomington in 1998. He is a member of the Indiana Bar and is admitted to practice in the state courts of Indiana, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Indiana and 7th Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Anderson is active in the local community, serving on the board of The CASIE Center, which serves needs of abused children and their families in St. Joseph County.
