Corinne Lawson is a paralegal in the Minneapolis, Minnesota office of Barnes & Thornburg LLP, where she is a member of the firm’s Corporate Department.
Ms. Lawson focuses on transactional work, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, equity and debt financings, private and public securities offerings, and corporate restructurings. She handles all aspects of transactions, including due diligence organization and review, set-up and maintenance of electronic data rooms, preparation of closing documents, assisting or facilitating closings. She also conducts blue sky research and facilitates the requisite federal and state notice filings.
Ms. Lawson also provides support with SEC regulatory compliance and general corporate matters.
Born and raised in Germany, Ms. Lawson studied corporate law and law of the European Union and earned her J.D. from Georg August Universität in Göttingen, Lower Saxony. She came to the United States in 1996 and worked as an intern, law clerk and paralegal in the area of US corporate law at two law firms in Minneapolis prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg in 2011.
Ms. Lawson is a member of the Minnesota Paralegal Association.
