Barnes & Thornburg LLP’s Columbus office opened in 2009 to better serve the firm’s clients doing business in Ohio, and to offer to Ohio businesses what we believe is a unique platform – a large full-service firm focused on businesses' needs in Midwestern and other U.S. markets, plus a client-focused approach resulting in effective and cost-effective legal services. It is one of four new offices opened by the firm in 2009.
The office was opened by established Ohio practitioners eager to bring to Ohio the firm’s passion for excellence and client service and, initially, a national labor and employment practice group platform. The office has quickly added significant capabilities in areas including government services, intellectual property, business litigation, workers compensation, environmental law, bankruptcy, construction and health care. The office also provides an entry point for Ohio clients to the firm’s full range of services. We continue to identify like-minded practitioners with an entrepreneurial bent to enhance the Columbus-based team.
