Law360 IP Editorial Advisory Board.

Law360.
Donovan concentrates his practice on patent and trademark litigation, unfair competition and trade secret litigation, and licensing. He represents clients in the preparation and prosecution of U.S. and foreign patent and trademark applications. His experience includes business method patents, and software related to electronic trading and clearance systems. He also has significant negotiation and drafting experience with software licensing; patent, trademark and copyright licensing issues; and in rendering patent validity and infringement options.
Donovan is an adjunct faculty member at Chicago-Kent College of Law, acting as an instructor for an intellectual property course. He is also a member and serves on a sub-committee of the International Trademark Association and a committee of the Intellectual Property Owners Association, and is a member of the Intellectual Property Law Association of Chicago.
