Dawn R. Rosemond is a partner in the Litigation Department of Barnes & Thornburg LLP. She has been with the firm throughout her entire legal career vigorously representing the interests of her clients. Ms. Rosemond is an Indiana Torchbearer Award recipient. She has been named as one of the most influential African Americans in Northeast Indiana by INK Magazine® and has been listed in Indiana Super Lawyers®.

Ms. Rosemond practices out of the firm's Fort Wayne, Indiana office and represents business clients at all stages of the litigation process, including pre-litigation counseling, ADR (mediation, arbitration, etc.), trial and appeal. She has litigated before various tribunals including federal and state courts and administrative agencies, and is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana, the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan, and before the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.

Ms. Rosemond litigates a wide array of matters, including business, commercial and intellectual property (patent, trademark, copyright and trade dress) matters. She also has broad experience litigating tort matters, regularly defending business clients against personal injury and premises liability claims. Further, Ms. Rosemond manages an extensive portfolio of worker's compensation defense litigation throughout Indiana, Ohio and Michigan.

Ms. Rosemond graduated from Indiana University–Bloomington in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. She was awarded her J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law–Champaign in 1996 and joined Barnes & Thornburg that same year.

Ms. Rosemond is a member of the National, American and Allen County Bar Associations. She also currently serves on the Board of Interfaith Hospitality Network (a non-profit organization dedicated to remedying the plight of homelessness in Allen County), the Fort Wayne Convention and Visitors Bureau, and is a member of the firm's Pro Bono Committee.

Ms. Rosemond is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and is active in the Fort Wayne community and her local church. She also regularly speaks and volunteers her time to mentor and champion young girls – especially African-American teens/pre-teens.
