Four Barnes & Thornburg Attorneys Affiliated With Top IP Law Programs in the Country

Four partners in the firm's Intellectual Property Department are affiliated with two of the top-20 Intellectual Property (IP) Law programs in the country as ranked in the 2008 U.S. News & World Report "Law Specialty Rankings: Intellectual Property Law." The rankings are part of U.S. News & World Report's "Best Graduate Schools" directory.
The attorneys are either adjunct faculty or advisory board members. They include:
Daniel Albers, Thomas Donovan and Melissa Vallone of the Chicago office are adjunct faculty members at Chicago-Kent College of Law, which ranked No. 10 on the Law Specialty Rankings. They teach a course on "Strategies in Intellectual Property," which is one of the capstone courses offered and required by Chicago-Kent in order to award an Intellectual Property certificate to graduates.
Alice Martin is an advisory board member at the John Marshall Law School in Chicago. The IP program at John Marshall ranked No. 15 on the publication's list.
